Hello friends! Dawn from WPlus9 has done it again – surprised us with absolutely gorgeous, must-have designs! You might have already seen my post & video about my favorites from this release, I briefly shared this card in there. I’m sharing a closer look at it in this post. This card uses the new Hellebore Builder – it’s a very beautiful set and not like anything else I have in my stash.
Since I always love to start my Christmas cardmaking in early Fall (or sooner) I used the new Hellebore Builder stamp set and coordinating dies to create an elegant white, gold and green Christmas project.

CARD DETAILS
I started working on my card by die-cutting shapes out of white cardstock. I often prefer to cut the shape out first and do my stamping afterwards, especially with layering sets as I find it easier to align the layers this way.
Stamping almost white flowers is not an easy task and requires the use of very light gray inks. I used my WPlus9 Fairy Dust for the base layer and stamped additional layers with the help of Simon’s Fog and Stone dye ink pads. The formula in these is identical, so they work beautifully together.
I also used Wplus9 Old Gold and Warm Wool to stamp the flower centers and details on the petals although I later added gold heat embossing instead. Leaves and tiny red flowers were stamped using a rather ordinary color combo – Last Leaf & Appletini (for the leaves) and Gala Red & Cranberry Crush (for the red flowers).
I used one of my older Wplus9 stamp sets, Christmas Greetings, to stamp a sentiment for this card and I also heat embossed it in gold to match the detail on my white flowers. I arranged my stamped images around the sentiment, adhered and foam mounted them in place.
Finally, I foam mounted my main panel (cut to 3 ¼ x 4 ½ “) onto an A2 side folding card base covered with white woodgrain cardstock. I also embellished my card using Nuvo drops in Morning Dew.

Very beautiful and elegant card! Love “white” stamped flowers and gold accents!
The font is just gorgeous! beautiful card!!
Wow, Yana. There’s a lot going on in the making of the card, but just looking at it there’s a simple elegance about it. Love the colors and all the white. Thanks. P.S. I went to a local art supply store recently and picked up a couple of F-C Polychrom pencils to try. I’m going to try mixing them with prisma to see how that works. Looking forward to playing with something new and I appreciate that I can go to this art supply store and pick up a couple of pencils at a time … and I get to choose my own colors!!!!!
WOW Yana, this IS a gorgeous card! I love these sets so much and sadly I don’t have any WPus9 stamps/dies yet:(:(:( NOT because I don’t want them… I saw the video of your faves and they are amazing and your cards are simply stunning! TFS another beauty!
I’ve seen your card onto WPlus9 blog and comment how much delicate and precious I found it. Congratulations !!
What an absolutely stunning card Yana!

Your card is absolutely stunning! The pure white, with pops of gold and red, is classic Christmas.
This card if fabulous. I love the colors it is so stunning. You always take just the simplest of stamps and make the most gorgeous cards. Thank you for sharing.
Wow!! What an absolutely gorgeous creation!! I don’t even know where to start!! Your colouring is done just beautifully and the gold centers on the white flowers is a nice touch. The font of the sentiment suits the flowers and greenery so well. Just such an elegant card!!
