Hello friends! Even though we are just entering Winter and snow season I am already thinking/dreaming about flowers. Newly released WPlus9 floral stamp set is simply amazing and is perfect for creating beautiful hand stamped floral patterns.

CARD DETAILS
I wanted to create a bold floral pattern for my card, but to tell the truth I didn’t want to do any masking (I did try to, but the ink kept bleeding through the mask onto my flowers so I decided to go with a different approach). I stamped flowers – a few large (using Hayride and Wild Mango) and several small (using Shell Pink and Sweet Nectar) and cut them out using companion dies.
Next I arranged them into clusters, taped together using washi tape (I did this to be able to move them around easily, you can also use press and seal for this) and stamped leaves behind them using Last Leaf.
After my stamping was done I foam mounted my floral clusters on top and cut excess flowers off using scissors. To create a sentiment I used Whimsy Alpha stamp set and stamped Bloom. This was the first word that came to mind when I was looking at this pattern. I cut letters out using companion dies and to help them stand out on my busy floral background I added a layer of vellum.
I also wanted to add an additional, smaller sentiment. So I heat embossed “You Are Simply Amazing” using white embossing powder onto white cardstock strip. I colored my cardstock using Shell Pink ink pad to match the colors on my project.
I also wanted to mention the new Whimsy Alpha stamp set as I think it is just fantastic! is not new to me as I had the pleasure of playing with this set a few month ago when Simon’s Masterpiece box came out and this set as a part of it.
