Unboxing Spellbinders Handmade Holidays Christmas Card Kit | Video

Hello friends! It is that time of the year again – time when companies begin to release their Christmas collections and products. I know this might seem way too early, but there’s also a thing known as “Christmas in July”, so why not? I’m popping in today to share a look at the Spellbinders 2024 Christmas Cardmaking Kit – the Handmade Holidays.

I don’t typically enjoy creating with card kits, but I can never restrain myself when I see a good Christmas kit! I love all things Christmas and a Christmas card kit is hardly ever an exception. This kit will let you create at least 25 cards and you’ll still have a lot of products left over to use on tags or perhaps even some Christmas scrapbooking/mini album making.

HANDMADE HOLIDAYS CHRISTMAS CARD INSPIRATION

The kit is fantastic for quick + easy Christmas cardmaking. You do want to bring in a paper trimmer to cut some rectangle panels to help build your cards, or better yet – some basic shapes by using dies! I have cards showing both!

I used a paper trimmer and simply cut a rectangle panel from some white backing paper from the kit (I didn’t even use my good white cardstock for this!)

I used a Make a Wish Arch Label die to create the beautiful shape for this card – I love the added detail this die creates 

I skipped adding a big panel to this card and only added a smaller one, white, inside the chipboard frame. This helped create a solid color background for my little scene, otherwise, the scene would’ve gotten lost

I used my paper trimmer and first cut patterned paper to size, and next added a red cardstock mat. You can also achieve the same look by using A2 Matting Basics A and B dies. 

I used Essential Arches die to create the white arch shape for this card

I used a basic rectangle die to cut a rectangle shape for this card
