Hello friends! Today I have a Fall card to share showcasing gorgeous STAMPtember exclusive collaboration stamp set from WPlus9 and Simon Says Stamp. This set features pretty layered floral images that are easy to align.
Even though this stamp set is not a Fall set specifically, I am inspired by all of the beautiful Fall colors around me and I wanted to create a Fall card with the help of these images. You can use this set for 3 seasons by just changing up the colors of your flowers and leaves.

CARD DETAILS
I started by stamping a sentiment – “Hello, I just wanted to say Hi” in Chocolate Brown ink in the center on my panel. Next, I stamped flowers and leaves using several red, orange and yellow ink pad colors from both Simon Says Stamp and Hero Arts.
I used the following colors (all by Simon Says Stamp unless indicated otherwise):
- Watermelon, Lipstick Red;
- Clementine, Orange Slush;
- Hero Arts Ombre Autumn;
- Duckling, Sunshine;
- Rosie Cheeks, Twirling Tutu.
I used Hero Arts Ombre Autumn ink pad to stamp the leaves here for a true Fall look. It took me several attempts to figure out the best colors to use for this card to make it look like a fall card, and not just a regular card with red and orange flowers. Having my leaves stamped in non green ink was actually the key. The minute you switch that green ink pad to red, orange, yellow or brown or a mix of those color your floral arrangement stars looking like a beautiful Fall one.
This stamp set also has 2 little birds to it so I stamped one in Watermelon for the body of the bird and Lipstick Red for the wing as well as Dark Chocolate for the beak and legs. You can angle the wing any way you like – align it with the body or have it go outside the body like I have here.
A lot of WPlus9 layering stamp sets are like this – they give you creative freedom in terms of layering and don’t require you to do absolutely precise and perfect layering. Layered imperfections is actually what makes these stamped images awesome and unique.
Once my stamped background was finished I decided I wanted to add some scored detail to the background. I’be been using this technique for a year now and I really love it – it’s simple, yet very effective for one layer layer or Clean & simple cards. I added horizontal score lines ever 1/2″. Lastly, I embellished my card using Gold sequins from Simon Says Stamp.

Yana you did it again! What an amazing video. You took a very plain and uninteresting (to me) set and made it look fabulous! REALLY… I probably would have passed up a set like this figuring I already have plenty similar but you draw interest in a way no other could! Thanks again for your fantastic inspiration… hugs.
Wow! This is sooo beautiful!! I love your work! <3
Pretty card and helpful video with lots of tips.
Love your pretty autumn colors, and I love that stamp set. Great tips, and the addition of background scoring really adds interest.
Beautiful cards, really liking that stamp set, so versatile & modern. Wish we had a Simon Says Stamps in the UK as I miss out on these daily release sets due to shipping. Nice mail colour also it went well with your card colours.
So of course I tried to buy this stamp set and it was sold out. I am so bummed. If you ever want to purge this set I am willing to pay for shipping and the set (even from where you are!). I really want to play with this set.
