CARD DETAILS
This card was inspired by a set of cards I shared not too long ago – Snowflake Window Shaker Cards (there’s also a video tutorial). This time I used a beautiful Four Seasons Silhouette die (I picked Winter season – there’s 4 different seasonal dies in this set).
I started working on my card by die-cutting the front window out of Tonic Studios Burnished Rose paper – I love this cardstock, it’s like no other out there! I also used acetate from Hero Arts and Marshmallow Confetti from Pretty Pink Posh to build my shaker.
I adhered the shaker element onto an A2 card base, the front of the card was covered with Hero Arts White Woodgrain cardstock, I just adore this paper for all things Clean & Simple.
I also die-cut the word Winter, I cut it out of Burnished Rose paper and fun foam for some dimension and die-cut several snowflakes from another set from the Four Seasons collection from Spellbinders.
Lastly, I stamped several additional words – “sending” and “kisses” to complete my sentiment “Sending Winter Kisses”.

Wow what a wonderful winter card, I love the colour card stock that this is cut from. I was going to ask you what kind of card stock you used for the back ground until I started reading your Blog Post and realised that it was sequins that I was seeing or Pink Posh Confetti. Using the same card stock foil to cut out the large sentiment was great but I have never put mine on foam I usually cut more than one sentiment and adhere them together. I will definitely try just adding a foam die cut sentiment but I might even add double sided adhesive paper too.
