Hello, crafters! Today I am playing with an exceptionally awesome die set, perfect for color blocking. This is the Colorblock Landscape die from Spellbinders, it is their June 2021 Small Die of the Month. It is a subscription Club, which you can join and cancel anytime. It is a very flexible subscription. No minimum commitment. And it is very affordable, too.

The main die cuts landscape blocks. You can cut them from colored cardstock, or white cardstock and ink blend various colors of ink to make different landscapes – mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes, fields, and so on. There’s also a die to cut a circle – a sun (and you can also cut a moon using it), and there’s also a ray die. This is a fantastic die for colored cardstock play – you can utilize all of those cardstock scraps you might have to play with this die set. This die set coordinates with the Spellbinders Clear Stamp of the Month for June 2021.

CARD DETAILS
Here’s a look at the cards I have for you today – I used various colors of cardstock from my stash to make these. I simply cut a bunch of colored cardstock panels, die-cut them using the Colorblock Landscape die, and arranged to create various landscapes.
For the first card, I used parts of the landscape to also create sky and clouds, I cut those from white and light blue to mimic various sections of the sky and I “tucked” the sun under one of the light blue die cuts.
For the second card, I used the sun ray die cot cut colorful sun rays from pale yellow and pale pink cardstock. I stamped the sentiment onto the sun die cut and fanned the rays around it. I also added some die cut cacti and branches (included in this die set) to dress up this card:
