Spellbinders | How to Use Floral Celebration Press Plate and Stencil Bundle. Video

Hello friends! Welcome back to my blog. Today I’m sharing a look at the Floral Celebration Press Plate and Stencil Bundle from my Let’s Celebrate collection with Spellbinders. I have a complete how-to use this product tutorial along with some card examples.

FLORAL CELEBRATION PRESS PLATE AND STENCIL

There is a Floral Celebration Press Plate that can be used for BetterPress stamping and hot foil stamping. The press pate is a stand-alone product. This means you can use just the plate alone to create beautiful backgrounds – either press it in different ink colors or foil using various colors of foil.

This plate gives an outline design meaning you can color the image using a coloring medium of your choice. If you like the look of coloring but don’t enjoy the coloring, you can get the Plate + Stencil bundle and use stencils to ink blend the color onto your background. Stencils are only available as part of the Bundle, as stencils alone are not a stand-alone product, they can’t be used without the plate (they can, but the image will miss an outline).

Here’s another background and card where I foiled the plate using Champagne foil and ink blended with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks:

The Plate and Stencils are both designed to give you an imperfect pressed/foiled/ink-blended look. If you look closely you’ll see gaps in the design. This is intentional. I like these imperfections, they add whimsy to the design.

And here’s one more card idea, the Press plate was pressed in Tawny Brown BettrPress ink and ink blended using stencils:
