Spellbinders | Christmas in July – My Favorite July Clubs

Hello all! I wanted to pop in and share some of my favorite Clubs from Spellbinders for July 2023. First, 2 new Clubs are launching this month – a BetterPress Club and Wax Seal Club! These are not a part of the Total Package, they are only available separately for now. I’ll talk about them in a different post.

Spellbinders July Club Kits are amazing, all Clubs (aside from the Card Kit) are focused on Christmas and the designs are simply stunning. I have 4 of my favorites to share in this video.

GLIMMER HOT FOIL KIT OF THE MONTH

You know I’m a big fan of the Glimmer Hot Foil system and love all things hot foil! The July Glimmer Club is stunning – I love the big floral frame and the sentiments included. I foiled mine in matte gold foil on Neenah 80lb cardstock and colored it with Copics (watch my video on the Spellbinders Youtube channel) but you can also foil it in black foil to have a different look or any other color foil you like.

I foiled the sentiment on Spellbinders Forest cardstock – love the contrast this provides!

STITCHING DIE OF THE MONTH

The Stitching Die is another favorite. It features a beautiful background (not stitchable) and a huge snowflake that can be stitched. I cut the background from Indigo cardstock and ink blended the edges with Simon Says Stamp Galaxy ink and VersaFine Onyx Black ink. The snowflake was cut from Glacier and I stitched it using gold thread.

The “Noel” was cut using an add-on for this month. Lastly, I decorated the card with Fashion Gold dots.

SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH

If you thought the previous Clubs were gorgeous, wait until you see the Small Die of the Month. The shapes are designed to form a poinsettia tree. The shapes are separate, so you can use them for other things, too. Very clever and versatile set, a must-have! The background here was made using the Embossing Folder of the Month.

LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH

My top pick for this month is the Large Die of the Month. I die cut the stocking from Simon Says Stamp velvet paper (how did I not know about this paper before?). The foliage was cut from white cardstock and I colored it using my Copic Markers. The video on the Spellbinders Youtube Channel will show you how. The background here was made using 3D Embossing Folder of the Month.
