Hello friends! I have another card to share featuring Inked Messages collection from Stephanie Low for Spellbinders. You can see the first card I shared using this collection here.

The Inked Messages line is filled with beautiful tattoo-inspired images and meaningful messages. For this card I used the Rough Waters stamp & die set.

CARD DETAILS

I started making this card by stamping images from the Rough Waters stamp set in Copic marker-friendly ink onto Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. Next, I used Copic markers for my coloring (although any coloring medium can be used to color these – I’m hoping to try and color these with my Polychromos).

The colors of Copic markers I used are:

  • Pink: RV10, RV55, RV09
  • Green: YG13, YG17, YG63
  • Brown: E37, E33, E31
  • Gray: C5, C3, C1

I cut images out with the help of coordinating dies that come with the set and formed into a cluster. I wanted to add a background to my card so I used a sheet of patterned paper with black and white stripes (I don’t remember where this paper came from), cut it to 4 x 5 1/4″ and foam mounted on A2 white top folding card base.

I also foam mounted my images on top (used double layer of foam adhesive for the anchor to have it raised above the flowers) and finished this card by adding white centers to the flowers using Nuvo Drops in Gloss White.
