Simon Says Stap May Card Kit Wedding Themed Cards

Hello friends! I have a couple of Wedding Themed cards to share with you today using the oh so beautiful May 2015 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp.

I loooove gold and it turns out I also love peach and grey and black. And the May Card Kit has all of those ingredients, perfect for a couple of light and elegant cards. I’ve made 6 in total so far so I’ll share 3 in this post and than 3 more in a few days after I edit the video for one of those projects.

All of these cards were incredibly easy to make. I used just the kit supplies + adhesive, nothing else, no dies, no additional papers, no embellishments. Just the contents of the kit. And I love the result!

First up is this diagonal card – I used one of the papers from Fancy That 6×6 pad and adhered it slightly diagonally, trimmed the remaining paper and used some on top of the gold stripes – flipped it and used the other side of the same gold stripes paper. Love the little floral print!

Next I layered several stickers from the Fancy That sticker pack, I used foam adhesives to achieve a bit of dimension on this project. I didn’t want it all to be just flat.

Lastly I fussy cut several leaves from the peach and gold and grey and black papers from the Fancy That pad, shaped them a bit with my fingers and adhered onto my card using liquid adhesive. Absolutely no stamping was done for this project, I only used a few stickers as well as the sentiment sticker and several cut out elements.

Next up is another wedding card using the leftover gold stripe paper from the card you saw above. First I adhered a lovely pale peach paper with gold confetti onto a card base and than added a few strips of other designs.

I also layered stickers, I did it a bit differently this time and of course I added a few of those hand made leaves. The top of the card was embellished with a few more sentiment stickers and a small stamped banner.

The last project for today has a simple striped design. I used a few left over pieces of patterned paper and created banners of various size and shape.

I clustered these embellishments on the top right hand side of my card, added a few sentiment stickers, stamped a simple Congratulations in black and embellished my project with leaves and a heart sticker.

Now I am completely ready for the wedding season! Yay!
