Just like the title says, this card is super simple and doesn’t require a ton of supplies. In fact, I used no stamps and no dies (well, just a banner die to cut the sentiment, but that can be replaced by a paper trimmer).

CARD DETAILS
I love abstract backgrounds such as the one on this card. There’s a technique I love to use to create this look by using ink pads. I have a video tutorial HERE. For this card, instead of starting with a white background, I started with a colored one – I used cream cardstock. And instead of using Simon’s dye inks, I used new Pawsitively Saturated inks. The foam in these ink pads is much softer, giving a much more beautiful abstract look.
With the ink added I applied glitter gel through a fading tiny dots stencil to create a focal point and finally I cut a pre-printed sentiment strip and foam mounted it on top. This card can’t get any simpler.
I am now obsessed with these backgrounds and can’t stop making them! Give them a try.
