Hello! Today I’m sharing a friendship card created with the Simon Says Stamp Stepped Back Blocks stencils and Friend Greetings stamp set.
CARD DETAILS
The Stepped Back Blocks is a 4 part stencil set. I blended each with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks in Seafoam, Surf, and Ocean. The top layer was created by using a glitter paste – this gave a beautiful, raised glittery finish and an amazing tactile effect.
I trimmed the background just 1/8″ smaller than 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ and foam mounted onto A2 white side folded card base. I wanted to keep most of the background visible, so I kept my sentiment very small – I stamped 3 skinny strip messages from the Friend Greetings stamp set, I cut them out using a wider banner die and foam mounted onto the card.
Lastly, I embellished everything with teal and silver gems. Have fun stamping!
