Hello, friends! I’m back with a fresh Spring card featuring a Spring Stems stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.
Last weekend we went to Lublin, Poland to celebrate my 35th Birthday. Lublin is not far from where I live, only about 3,5 hours by car to the North-East. It is a beautiful old town, perfect for a weekend getaway. I’ve been to Lublin many times in the past, but never during this time of year. I was impressed as the weather was a lot more Spring-like, with lots of green grass and newly formed buds on the trees. The air felt warmer despite strong winds and overall it felt as if it was Spring. Here in Ukraine, we are still in the middle of Winter with hardly any signs of Spring.

CARD DETAILS
I used Simon’s Spring Stems to create this card. I stamped the main image in Intense Black ink and used my Copic markers to add color. I wanted to have a colorful bouquet, so I used various colors for each flower. I love this look!
There’s a coordinating die available and it will cut the main shape out. The die doesn’t cut out the areas in between the leaves, I wanted them cut out, so I fussy cut them using a kraft knife.
A simple sentiment was stamped in the top part of the 3 3/4 x 5″ panel. I added the daffodils cluster on top using foam adhesive and added a sub-sentiment using one of Simon’s pre-printed sentiment strips. The white panel was foam mounted onto a Kraft card base, I embellished it with several sequins for a touch of sparkle.
Have fun stamping!

Lovely cards, but I want you to know that I am heartbroken about what is happening in Ukraine. I have relatives in Poland near Auschwitz, but you are the only one I know in Ukraine and I can’t stop thinking of you and your people. Prayers are with you and your country. ❤️
I’ve been thinking of you all day. I hope you and your family are safe. All of us here in the U.S. are hoping for the best for Ukraine and its citizens. Stay safe.

Yana, I am thinking of you today. With all the horrors that are unfolding in Ukraine, I think about you, and my extended family, who are also in Zbaraz. I pray you are all safe. Glory to Ukraine, Glory to the heros.

You are — and have been — in my prayers along with your family and the people of Ukraine. I have been thinking about you so much. May peace prevail and may Ukraine and its beautiful people keep faith, hope and courage. Let freedom ring once again. Love and hugs.
I have been thinking of you and your fellow countrymen all day. I know others are saying it as well, but wanted to add my thoughts too. Your card is lovely. You “taught” me how to hot foil so think of you very kindly! Stay safe,
