Simon Says Stamp | Rainbow Love

Hello! Today I have a bold graphic Valentine’s Day card to share. I love the new XL Love Greetings stamp set from Simon – the fonts used are very simple making the sentiments versatile and striking.

LOVE YOU – CARD DETAILS

I first ink blended a colorful background for my card by using the Slimline Rainbow stencil and Pawsitively Saturated inks. I blended just the corners of my A2 card and the rainbow fades as it moves closer to the center of the card.

I used Sunbeam, Citrine, Cheeky, Blush, Bubblegum, and Sweets for blending.

Next, I stamped a bold Love You in Versafine Onyx Black ink somewhat closer to the left-hand side of the panel. I wanted to add additional design elements to this card and for that, I used Simon’s pre-printed sentiment strips – I cut 2 using a thin banner die and foam mounted vertically next to the sentiment.

I also die-cut 3 hearts from the leftover sentiment panel (I wanted the black on the sentiments and the hearts to match) and foam-mounted hearts onto the card.

Lastly, I added a silver gem onto each of the hearts. Have fun stamping!
