I’ve been going back to pattern stamping a lot lately. I love this technique, it allows us to breathe life into old stamp sets. This card was made using Simon Says Stamp Be a Mermaid stamp set (I’ve used it many times HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE).

I stamped several mermaid tails and nestled a sentiment between the most prominent 2. Next, I filled the gaps with air bubbles and colored everything using Copic markers – BG11, BG45, and BG09.
I also stamped a few seashells, cut them out with coordinating dies, and colored them yellow and pink to add a pop of color to this card. Lastly, I added white pen dots onto the tails to add detail.
I love the way this card turned out. And I love the positive vibes it gives. I will keep this card on my desk for a bit before gifting it to a friend.

This is a fabulous card. I have this set and know that you use it often. I love it but have never used it, I’m ashamed to say… or maybe I’ve used it once. I will put this on my “summer to do” stack because I definitely want to play more with it.
