Simon Says Stamp | O Christmas Tree

Hello, friends! I have another Christmas card to share – this time a much lighter and brighter design featuring Simon Says Stamp Merry Christmas Trees stamp set. I love the modern quirky design of the trees and also the variety – so many sizes and shapes to choose from!

CARD DETAILS

I heat embossed one of the tree images in detail white embossing powder on green and light blue cardstock (Simon’s Sea Glass, Surf Blue, and Green Apple) and cut it out using a coordinating die. I love this tree design!

Next, I stamped some additional trees on Simon’s Fog cardstock in Smoke ink and foam mounted the colorful trees on top. The Smoke stamping creates the illusion that the trees are placed further in the background and it adds additional dimension to this card.

I also stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black and the same Smoke ink. I embellished the middle tree with Spellbinders gems in Red and added snow dots to the background using Nuvo Drops in White.

It is a very simple and cheerful card design, one that would be easy to mass-produce.
