Simon Says Stamp | More Cardmaking Ideas using Dancing Fruits

Hello, friends! As promised (although a bit late), I’m sharing a few more card ideas using Simon’s delicious Dancing Fruits stamp set. I shared a couple cards in this post HERE (there’s also a video tutorial).

The cards I have here are smaller, 4 Bar projects (they measure 3 1/2 x 4 7/8″). I started working on these by stamping a lemon and 2 pears in Versafine Onyx Black ink onto watercolor paper. I also stamped “Hey There” sentiments from the Big Greetings 1 stamp set and overlapped each of the fruit with another handwritten-like message from Bouquet of Thanks set.

Next, I used my Daniel Smith watercolors and loosely colored these. I used a mix of yellow, green and a hint of brown colors. I also added a bit of light gray at the base of the fruits to create a shadow and some sort of a horizon line.

I foam mounted my watercolor panels onto 4 Bar cards and coated fruits with a generous amount of Glossy Accents for a fun glossy finish.
