Simon Says Stamp | May Card Kit – Cacti Thinking Of You Card

Hello, there! Today is the 14th of the month and that means new subscription card kit from Simon Says Stamp is live! I was very much in the watercolor mood when I received my parcel, so I grabbed my watercolors and one of the pre-printed watercolor cards from the kit and did some quick coloring.

CARD DETAILS

I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors and added quick blobs of colors, I went with one of my favorite color combinations – yellow, pink, green and aqua.

To help my sentiment stand out I watercolored a light blue background block around it. I also added a strip of light blue paper – I cut it from one of the patterned paper sheets from my kit.

I used a few Sparkling Clear sequins from my stash to add some shine to my project – love the look of these on this simple one layer card.

MAY 2017 CARD KIT

The theme for May 2017 card kit is “animation” and included in the kit is a fun animation stamp set from Uchi’s Design along with some specialty paper to help your images come to life. I’m looking forward to playing with these as soon as I get some free time.
