Hello, friends and happy Monday! I had a wonderful weekend with my mom, I feel so rested and ready to conquer the week ahead. Today I have a floral card to share which is a copy of a card I made a while back using different supplies, but identical technique.

CARD DETAILS
I used stamps from Simon Says Stamp to make the card I’m sharing today. Recently I mentioned I miss coloring florals, so I used another stunning floral stamp set from Simon – the Beautiful Flowers to make this card.
I heat embossed image outline in Antique Gold embossing powder on white cardstock and used my Copic markers to color the image. The colors of markers used are the same as always: RV34, RV11 and RV00 to color flowers; G99, G94, and YG03 to color leaves.
After cutting the image out using a coordinating die I also used a BG09 marker to color the white border around the image as I knew I’d be placing my die cut on a dark teal background.
To make the background for this card I heat embossed a sentiment that reads “Sending Lots of Love & Hugs Your Way” in Antique Gold embossing powder. Next, I stamped the same floral image in watermark ink and left as is, for the tone on tone effect.
I foam mounted my floral cluster over the background, which I had already trimmed to 4 1/4 x 5 1/4″, and adhered it to the A2 white card base. Finally, I embellished the card using clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh.

I have not tried this look before, and I do like it! Since I have that stamp set and the flowers are so much fun to color, I think I’ll give it a try!! Thank you, Yana.
This is a real beauty. Love the coloring and tone on tone together.
Yana, I WONDERED how you did this! LOL I LOVE the edge of your die cut pieced colored in teal, & then mounted on a darker teal card base, with the tone on tone stamping! IT IS STRIKING!!! 😉 SO GLAD you are back to the florals! 😉 I WISH companies would do more realistic florals like this! A SUPER JOB & one of my FAVORITE SETS!!! ;)<3
