Hello, friends! Happy Sunday! I’m keeping busy at home by cleaning our apartment, doing some decluttering in my crafty corner and, of course, crafting my heart out!
Here’s one of the cards I made recently, it features the same 2 techniques I shared in my latest video for Simon Says Stamp – Heat Embossing & Coloring with Copic Markers. This is actually Take #3 on this technique, see Take #2 HERE.

CARD DETAILS
This time I used a different stamp set, Beautiful Flowers from Simon Says Stamp, I love going back to my older sets and using them in a new way. I stamped it on Simon’s Fog cardstock in Intense Black ink using my MISTI tool. Next, I colored the image using Copic markers, this time I used different colors – BV08, BV04, BV02. I love the result!
I let the panel dry for about 30 minutes (I try to avoid using my heat tool to dry as it can warp the paper and thus cause the stamp not to align perfectly). Once it was dry I placed it back into my MISTI, treated with an anti-static powder tool and stamped with clear embossing ink. I used my favorite Antique Gold embossing powder and heat set it with my heat tool to melt it.
At this point I didn’t quite like how the colors looked together, I didn’t like the gray background, so I used a YG99 marker and colored the background dark green. I also decided I wanted to add some white pen details and added a bunch of dots next to the heat embossed outlines.
I trimmed this panel down to 3 3/4 x 5” and foam mounted onto the A2 white top folding card base.
I used a Glimmer plate from Spellbinders to create a sentiment for this card and foiled one that reads “Grateful for all you do”. I foiled in gold on white cardstock, trimmed to a skinny strip and foam mounted onto the card.
Finally, I embellished the card using gold and blue sequins from Simon Says Stamp as well as gold jewels from Pretty Pink Posh.
I hope you like how this card turned out. Let me know in the comments below. Have fun stamping!

Beautiful Yana. I have some of these panel embossed using this stamp and water coloured but never finished them. Thanks for the idea on what else I can do to finish them off.
So gorgeous! I love the coloring!
Beautiful card, Yana – I love the addition of the white dots.
