Hello there and welcome! Thank you so much for stopping by today to help celebrate Simon Says Stamp From The Vault Blog Hop. Simon and Lawn Fawn are bringing back with From the Vault: Merry Christmouse stamps and dies. These were extremely popular their first time around (during STAMPtember 2015) and I am very happy to see these products back in stock. I personally missed this stamp set last year so I was very eager to play this time!

VIDEO TUTORIAL
I’ve filmed a video tutorial where I am sharing everything in detail. You can watch it below or on my Youtube channel.

CARDS DETAILS
I decided to make a few simple and silly cards to mail to my friends who have a nice sense of humor. I started by stamping images from the Merry Christmouse stamp set in Simon’s Intense Black Ink onto white paper. I used my mini MISTI stamp positioner as I wanted to double stamp them and have perfect black outlines.
I used a few colors of Copic markers are quickly colored these. The colors I used are:
After cutting my images out using coordinating dies I started working on my background. I used my regular size MISTI, Sea Glass cardstock panel and Diagonal Stripe 6×6 cling background stamp and heat embossed beautiful white stripes.
For my Naughty or Mice card I heat embossed sentiment in Simon’s Antique Gold embossing powder onto vellum, wrapped vellum around the panel and adhered it onto an A2 top folding card base. I also foam mounted my images and added some red and white bakers twine to finish the card.
For my Merry Christmouse card I cut a banner out of Schoolhouse Red cardstock, foam mounted it onto the heat embossed panel (I already had it adhered onto a card base) and foam mounted my images on top. I also stamped “Have A” in Lipstick Red ink onto a strip of cardstock and foam mounted over the sentiment. To hang the stockings I adhered little pieces of red and white twine.
Lastly, I added a generous amount of Star Dust glitter glue from Ranger and some clear Wink Of Stella glitter pen.

Yes, I love to give funny cards – most of my friends and family appreciate them.
I like them both, but I prefer the one with the banner. The other card blends together too much. Thank you for sharing your work.
I don’t usually make funny cards.
Sometimes, but not often.
I love all the funny, silly stamp sets that all the companies come out with. They’re so cute and fun to use 🙂
I don’t have that many sentiments or stamps with a funny side in them. But if I were to make one, I know for sure that my husband would be the first to appreciate it as he is a funny guy.
I definitely like making funny cards…it’s great to make others smile!
I think this kind of cards are so clever. Everybody appreciate them. Love them. Thanks for sharing
I have learned to appreciate funny cards because of my husband….but he’s the only one who gets my humor.
So, so sweet! Love this set and your cards are fabulous! Thanks for the great video.
Yana, what fun cards you created. The mice hanging upside down is just too perfect! I love to see ideas that use different placement of the stamps. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
I do like to make cute and/or funny cards, but I’m careful to only send them to people who will appreciate them.
awesome card love mice ,but only on paper LOL
I love this card 🙂 its super cute its my 7 year old daughters fav
I too like the one with the red banner but both are really cute!
Both cards are just so playful and beautiful. I think I do prefer the one with the banner, I like the mice in the stodkings.
I love to make funny cards that make people smile. Your cards are wonderful! Thanks for providing the video tutorial!
What adorable cards! I agree with you, I love them both, but love the one with the banner more. I do love to make funny cards, but make them more for birthdays than anything. Thanks for sharing with us.
I do like funny cards. I’m a pretty big jokester. Love the peeking little mice!
I like to make and give funny cards. It’s nice to know I’m going to put a smile on someone’s face or even give them a laugh and brighten up their day!
Wonderful cards 🙂 So cute they are!!
Your cards are always amazing. I Def gravitate more to whimsical, ‘punny’ cards as opposed to elegant & complicated. Much more forgiving I think. Thanks for all the great ideas!
Love your cards, and like you I like them both, but like the one with the red banner best. Yes, I do like to do funny cards and have a family that really likes them too. Thank you for the chance to win.
Funny sentiments make great cards, my husband thinks they’re great too.
I’m new to card making and haven’t really don any funny cards yet. Thanks for sharing these 2 great design ideas!
Such adorable cards! Love the papers and colors! Very fun stamp set! I love making humorous cards!
I do like to send funny cards, but I have to be careful who I send what because my slightly caustic sense of humor gets me in trouble! I do find people appreciate them, too, as they appreciate my other cards – I have several friends who save every card I make them, which really makes me feel good.
Nice cards!
What a super cute stamp and die set and your cards are just fabulous!! I do have a few people in my life that appreciate funny cards and ioìì
Super cute cards!!
I can see why you missed these little mice. So cute. I’m honestly drawn to pretty stamp sets but when I see a cute/funny set hat isn’t too over the top they have to go in the basket. I find the true comedic stamp sets have limited use.
I love funny cards especially receiving them! I don’t actually own any funny stamp sets myself….I must do something about that. I know my dad, hubby and a couple of friends who’d love to receive them though. Have a great day. Cheers Donna z 🙂
This is such a cute stamp and die set and the cards you made are just fabulous!! I have a few people in my life that appreciate silly sentiments/cards like I do. It can be awkward when someone just doesn’t get the humour. Lol
This is such a fun set. I enjoy making funny cards. I know they aren’t for everyone, but it’s nice to mix it up every once in awhile.
Super cute! I do Like to make funny cards – I think I don’t do it often enough – thanks for sort of reminding me to do it more often.
Such fun cards. I do like to make some funny cards.
I do like to make funny cards. I need to do it more often to bring a smile to someone’s day. Cute card!

Yes, the funny cards are the best. The card with the upside down mice is really cute. Thanks.
I do like to make funny cards. Most people really appreciate the cards I make for them. I like both cards very much, but I really like the one with the banner best.
Fabulous cards! The mice are adorable. I like some funny cards but don’t make them because I’m not
sure how people will react to them!
Oh those mice are so adorable!!
I do like to make funny cards. Love those mice.
I really like these mice and what you made with them. I love making funny bright cards. I have a harder time with toned down quieter cards.
I definitely like to make funny cards for my sisters!
i don’t usually but these are so cute!
Awww so stinkin cute! I love funny and punny cards! Everybody always likes to receive a humorous card! 🙂
