Simon Says Stamp | Fresh Air Fall Flowers Card. Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends! Today I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their Season of Wonder Release Blog Hop. I have a card to share with a gorgeous Fresh Air Fall Flowers stamp set and coordinating dies. These images are so dreamy and when used with yellow, orange, and red colors are perfect for Fall.

CARD DETAILS

I first used the coordinating dies and cut the pieces out of white cardstock. Next, I stamped each image using my MISTI stamping tool. Many of these images have several layers, I skipped using the additional layers and instead added color variation by applying a darker color of ink onto the solid stamp with a blending brush. Worked like magic!

I created an arrangement on my background, I used a sheet of pale pink peach cardstock and I also stamped some additional images directly onto the background.

The background paper isn’t suitable for stamping, so a lot of the stamping has a blurry edge (the ink bled), but it actually works really well for this card design. I foam mounted the die-cut images over the background and added a sentiment stamped and black. Lastly, I embellished my card with Aura sequins. Love the result!
