It’s that time of the month again – new cardmaking kit from Simon Says Stamp and if you ask me it’s a great kit for just about anyone. Love coffee? Love tea? You’ll love this fabulous collection of goodies.
I myself am both a coffee and a tea kind of person. I need my italian coffee + vanilla creamer in the morning and another cup at lunch and a few more cups of tea during the day. I also love a bit of lemon and a some milk in my tea (not at the same time, lol)!

I planned to do a different card using this kit (an additional one, actually). I wanted to stamp a few coffee cups to make a pattern, add a corrugated sleeve to a few and finish off with a pretty sentiment, but time just went away from me. With CHA being just around the corner this is very busy time of year with a lot of prep work, behind the scenes packing and planning and other last minute things (I’ll post more about CHA soon). Luckily, there’s a 3-day weekend ahead, so fingers crossed I’ll get to stamp that other project and maybe share it next week?
This card is super simple – I heat embossed “Coffee & Friends make the perfect blend” sentiment in white embossing powder onto kraft cardstock from the kit. After I cut a circle out I adhered coffee stickers (one was foam mounted) and foam mounted the circle onto a patterned paper banner adorned with twine bow.
I also added some patterned paper onto my card base and adhered a few sequin starts to dress up this simple card.
I am loving this kit and really looking forward to some one-on-one stamping and cardmaking time soon, lol! I’ll share more soon!

Adorable card Yana! I drink both – typically espresso int humoring (with hot milk) and then usually tea the rest of the day! It’s not carved in stone though – I sometimes live on the wild side and have a second coffee – lol
