Simon Says Stamp | August Card Kit – You + Me

I am a little bit late sharing this, but I didn’t want to share two posts yesterday so I moved my post with Simon’s Card Kit cards to today, I hope you don’t mind. I have edgy and modern cards to share using Simon’s latest – August card kit. This is how I would describe the kit itself – trendy, modern and edgy. And all thanks to the patterned papers and clear stamps included in the kit.

I did hardly any stamping to create these two cards (it’s been a long time since I made a patterned paper only card so it was really nice to switch gears). I played a lot with the patterned paper and he puffy stickers to create the layouts. I adore using puffy stickers for my cards and these were especially fun since they matched patterned papers perfectly.

I only stamped You + Me = Awesome in black ink and you can see my stamping ended up being rather messy. While I don’t normally like my stamping like this I kept it as I felt it added a unique touch to my card.
