Hello friends! I am back to share another card created using Simon Says Stamp April 2016 Card Kit. This time I am working on a black card base and showing you how it can be decorated on the inside.

Using black for a card base can add a lot of contrast to the otherwise simple card. Here’s another example I have created using Simon’s April kit.

I did very little to create this card – I started with a simple faux stitched die cut circle, foam mounted a typewriter sticker with a “Life is Good” sentiment, added a “Note to Self” sentiment (I cut it apart to be able to arrange the words the way I needed). I also decorated the circle with a few small banners and a couple stamped flowers and leaves. I used Duckling and Sunshine along with Surf Blue and Black ink colors to stamp these.

The bottom part of the card was embellished using a plastic clip and a label sticker, both were foam mounted to create a bit of additional dimension here.

The inside of the card was decorated with a white die cut panel where I stamped a few additional flowers and leaves and added several sentiment stickers.
