Hello there! Thank you for stopping by to help celebrate new release from Simon Says Stamp – Best Days! I’ve already shared one card & video tutorial on my blog yesterday – check it out for more inspiration and have a few more cards to share today. I’ve been feeling very inspired with these products – they are just in time for some fun Spring cardmaking.
Several of my favorites from this release are the Reverse Polka Dot Background, Oh Bunny stamp set and Bold Flowers stamp set. These are the 3 products I used for the cards I’m sharing today.

CARD DETAILS
I wanted to make colorful cards for Easter to give to my family and these products really sparked my creativity. I started working on my cards by stamping all of the parts and pieces. I used Simon’s Barely Beige ink and my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp a background for my card – I love this background stamp, if you’ve seen my previous post & video you know why.
I also stamped a bunch of colorful bunnies – I wanted to have 3 rows of bunnies in 4 colors of ink sitting on my card. I used just the solid stamp for these cards, there is an outline to this shape as well, so that you can have a solid layer of color plus black outline, or you can use just the outline on it’s own if you like.
I picked 4 yummy colors of ink from Simon – Green Apple, I love this color for Spring, Sunshine – it’s my favorite vibrant yellow, Doll Pink – it’s actually one of my first ink pads and ink colors from Simon, still love this color and Lake Shores – it’s a nice soft blue, I don’t use this color very often, but it’s very beautiful.
Once I stamped all of the bunnies I needed for my card I moved onto stamping florals and greenery. I used images from Bold Flowers set and while this set has lots of big blooms, there are also a lot of smaller images that can easily be used to embellish smaller elements such as these bunnies.
I stamped a branch in same Green Apple ink – this branch look taller than a bunny, but you can cut it apart scissors and have two smaller greenery elements instead of one. Next, I stamped two tiny flower clusters in Sunshine – those go on another branch image from this set, but you can easily use them separately – and the size of these is perfect to dress up my bunnies.
There are also lower centers or maybe those are individual flowers in form of dot clusters – I just stamped those in Doll Pink and Hollyhock – a vibrant pink for the big image and softer pink for the small image.
Both of these stamp sets, the Oh Bunny and Bold Flowers come with coordinating dies and so I used those to cut my images out. I like how the bold blooms set was designed – the dies for flowers come separately from the dies for the stems so you can cut out either image out and not have to cut out the entire flower – meaning both the stem and the bloom. So that offers more versatility – and that’s exactly what I took advantage of here.
I adhered my stamped reverse polka dot background onto an A2 side folding card base – I love the look of this background, it’s just so subtle. I used foam adhesive squares from Scrapbook Adhesives in small and large sizes and I started to foam mount my bunnies in place – one by one. I also used 2 mini action wobble springs for my card, I wanted to make this card interactive, so I used wobblers to adhere two of the bunnies.
Even though these mini wobblers are mini, they were still a bit too big for the size of the bunny, so I used my scissors and trimmed them slightly. I also later added additional elements onto those bunnies that had the wobbler under them to make sure you couldn’t see the wobble spring.
I went with Hello Bunny and Happy Easter sentiments for my cards and white heat embossed those onto black cardstock.

Love using wobblers, they make the cards such fun.
The colors you used are just amazing! And wobble cards are always so fun!
Adorable card! love the soft colors and the cute little bunnies. Thanks for the inspiration.
A great couple of designs Yana, I love the one with the two wobblers on though, any interactive piece on a card gets my vote. I did not think I would like the new SSS release stamp set with the out line of the bunny but you have definitely made this work for you Yana on your designs. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O)
I like the repeated use of the bunny stamp in different colors to cover the front of the card. Thanks for showing how you made repeated use of the Misti. I just got one and am looking for ways to make good use of it.
I LOVE this card. So colorful and adorable.

Cute card! I like that you also used the flowers. It gives the rabbits a whole different look.
Oh my gosh, how cute and colorful is this card? I love it so much! I also love that you used my favorite color in the whole wide world on your card, yellow. It’s so not used enough in my opinion. It’s so cute how you made the bunnies wobble! I don’t have a die cutter but I’ll bet if I wanted, I could cut out the bunnies and do what you did. I love the flowers and leaves too. This is one totally adorable card!
Thank you for showing us your cute and colorful card and for giving us the chance to win something.
Love this stamp set!
