I created yet another watercolor card, I honestly can’t seem to stop enjoying using this medium not only to color my stamped images, but also to create unique backgrounds.

I started working on this project by stamping the adorable little bird and bow from the Holiday Pals stamp set and branch from the Birdie Friends stamp set using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink, you want to make sure to use waterproof ink if you plan to watercolor you images. I watercolored these using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors and cut these images out using matching dies (I have links to all products used below).
I also die cut a tag using the new Stitched Essentials 1 set, but I made it an upside down tag by die cutting the hole in a form of a heart upside down. I heat embossed Cheer Up Friend in Brass embossing powder onto the top of the tag.
I also die cut another element using the rectangle die from the Stitched Duo 2 Die set and added ink smooshed layers of watercolor in blue and green (using various colors of Distress inks). To make the base of this card unique I used the arch die from the Stitched Borders 1 set and die cut the part of the card base off. The panels were than foam mounted on top and the card was decorated with various clear and sunshine sequins along with small droplets.
I also heat embossed Sending Hugs on the inside of the card so that its visible from the outside even when the card is closed.
