More Stitching Die of the Month Club Inspiration

Hello friends! I’m back to share 2 additional card ideas featuring the Spellbinders Stitching Die of the Month. I talked about this new Club HERE and I, I’ll say it again, I love it! I can’t wait to see the design for February!

You know how much I love to use the color black for my card backgrounds, so of course, I was tempted to stitch a black background using a combination of black & gold thread. I used the Brushed Black cardstock and combined it with the Diamant floss from DMC and Holiday Diamant floss and Fashion Gold dots.

I went with an open design for this card and added a gold foiled sentiment in the center of the die-cut opening. The sentiment was made using Glimmer plates from the Parcel & Post collection (remember that mailbox?).

I also made another card in white, using Brushed White cardstock, and stitched it using gold and white floss. I added more Fashion Gold dots and made this one into a birthday theme card.

I popped the stitched panel up on my card base using foam adhesive squares, the sentiment panel was adhered using glue and it is recessed, you can see that up close on the photo below:
