CARD DETAILS
This stamp set has 6 critters holding craft supplies, all working tirelessly to make a handmade card. I loved each one of them, but especially the dog. That dog! Holding that cute card. The card in the stamp set is blank, which I didn’t like, I would have liked it better if it had something scribbled on it (illegible). But blank means I can make it my own, so I stamped a flower from another set, the Little Rascal. You can stamp anything your heart wants, as long as it is small enough to fit. Or maybe mask it if it doesn’t fit and still stamp it.
I’m not the best when it comes to coloring critters, in fact, I’m probably the worst, I did try to color these cuties the normal way and failed, so I ended up not coloring them at all. I did use some grays, browns, and orange colors as accents and added R20 Blush (softened with Colorless Blender), but that was it. I did focus a lot on coloring the craft supplies and I made all of them pink. Because who doesn’t love pink craft supplies? Okay, maybe not everyone loves pink, but I like pink (have I mentioned I’m on the lookout for a pink drill?)
I colored the card the dog is holding pink on the inside and I made my actual card the same way – I used pink cardstock for the card base and added a white panel to the card front. I did a grid design, similar to what I shared in my previous MFT video, but this time the grid is 2 x 3. One of the critters was replaced by sentiment, the 6th critter was still used, but on the inside of the card.
My satisfaction level after finishing this card is off the charts. This is how much I love this card. I hope you feel inspired, have fun crafting!
