In this video, I’ll show you how to create a popped-up stamped pattern using your individual, non-background stamps, and coordinating dies. Think of this as a regular stamped pattern, but with a twist – added dimension for a fun and unique look!

CARD DETAILS
I love floral stamps and when I saw the floral images in the MFT Fun Flowers stamp set I knew exactly what kind of pattern I would make. Using single, individual stamps is always super fun because you have no limits to your creativity. You can create any sort of arrangement you want and this is what we are going to do in this video!
I started working on my card by stamping a few images from this MFT Fun Flowers stamp set onto Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using my mini MISTI tool. I stamped my images using Copic marker friendly ink as I planned to color these using Copic markers. Overall, I ended up needed 7 of each image to build my pattern, but depending on what images you need, the size of your card, and how you arrange them you might need more or fewer images.
Having stamped all the images I needed I picked several colors of Copic markers for my Coloring. I used pinks, green and teal colors.
- Flowers: RV11, R83, and R85.
- Leaves: YG93, YG95, and YG99.
- Branch: B00 and B02. This particular color didn’t quite work with the background I had planned for this card, so I colored over the leaves using a BG45 marker to give them more of a teal look.
Next, I cut the images out using coordinating dies. I had prepped a background panel using a panel of light teal cardstock. I white heat embossed a simple “Happy Birthday” sentiment, it comes from the MFT Balloon Bundle stamp set. Next, I used foam adhesive squares in medium and small size and foam mounted each die-cut one by one onto the panel creating a unique, one of a kind pattern.
Next, I used scissors and cut the excess die cuts off finishing this beautiful peace. I also added yellow enamel dots to the background, where I felt I had big gaps in the design and that finished my card.
