Hello friends! I enjoy using word-play sentiments in my projects as I feel they are always fresh and unique. I really loved the “Thanks For Bee-Ing There” one from My Favorite Things and used it for a card I’d like to share today.

I started by stamping flower and bee outlines in Hero Arts Intense Black Ink, this is a Copic-marker friendly ink, and coloring my images using alcohol markers. I used Copics and First Edition Twin Markers (both are alcohol and work well together), usually I like to color using one brand, but I lack a lot of colors, I mainly used Copics and brought a few colors from my First Edition collection (it is a UK brand).
I die cut the images out using matching dies, I also die cut a branch out of green cardstock and arranged everything onto a black panel cut using Die-namics Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX die.
The “Thanks For Bee-Ing There” sentiment was stamped in black pigment ink and heat embossed in clear embossing powder for a shiny raised finish.
It was so fun being a guest on MFT blog and playing with new goodies. Thank you My Favorite Things for having me as a guest this month!
