MFT Guest Designer | Lets Bond

Times goes by so fast! This is my last post as Guest Designer for January 2016 for  My Favorite Things Sketch Challenges. You can check the first one here and the second one here and the third one is over here. To say is was fun would be an understatement, it was very exciting creating these projects. I have lots more ideas swirling in my head, hoping to make many more cards using these goodies.

I started my today’s project by doing some negative die cutting – I die cut the molecules in the card base and adhered a sheet of white cardstock on the inside, although you can also leave it as is – as fun looking windows in a card base. I also stamped a few of the molecules in dark grey and used the same color of ink for the sentiment – Lets Bond.

Both the beakers and the little heart were die cut out of Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper and colored with my favorite watercolors. Finally I stamped a simple XO in pink and embellished this project with a few clear drops.
