I took a little break from STAMPtember, but I am happy to be back. I was busy making several cards for an upcoming magazine publication. Also, my hubby had minor back surgery, so that kept me busy as well, I was driving back and forth to the hospital, and now that he is home – taking care of him.
Anyhow, I’m back to celebrating STAMPtember and I couldn’t have picked a better day, because today’s collaboration is with Tim Holtz. And oh boy, let me tell you, Tim’s set is amazing.

TIM HOLTZ – STAMPTEMBER 2021
This set comes with a layering moon stencil, which is so fitting, as it helps create the most amazing scenes for these stamped images. I did a quick ink blended background and stamped my images on top in black.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
- Die-cut a circle mask from masking paper. Use the negative piece and attach it onto a panel of Simon’s 120lb cardstock. Ink blend the moon’s base layer with Scattered Straw Oxide ink.
- Position the moon stencil detail layer over the ink blended moon and ink blend in Wild Honey ink. Remove all masks.
- Mask the moon using the positive die-cut circle mask. Ink blend the background in Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot. Remove mask.
- Stamp images over the background in VersaFine Onyx Black ink creating a scene.
- Sponge white pigment ink over the clouds.
- Add white dot detail over and silver gems onto the Santa’s trail.
- Apply white glitter paste onto the lower portion of the card overlapping the trees.
- Spray the background with shimmer mist.
- Add white marker dots to mimic snow.
- White emboss a partial sentiment onto red cardstock, cut out, and foam mount onto the panel.
- Adhere panel onto Slimline card base – 3 1/2 x 8 1/2″.
