It’s STAMPtember! | Concord & 9th Exclusive – Oh Hello

Hello, friends and welcome back for another “It’s STAMPtember!” post! This time I am sharing a set of quick stamp cards created using Concord & 9th exclusive collaboration stamp set called Oh Hello.

If you adore simple shapes and brushstroke-like images you’ll find this stamp a fun one to play with. I decided to go with the most popular color combination – yellow and pink and stamp several cheerful cards.

CARD DETAILS

I picked a few yummy ink colors from Simon to stamp this card. I went with Duckling, Sunshine and Melon for the yellow row and Twirling Tutu, Teeny Bikini and Doll Pink for the pink. Using my mini MISTI I double and sometimes triple stamped these to get the most vibrant and solid impressions possible.

I did my stamping directly on an A2 side folding card base and once my circles were stamped added “Oh Hello Friend” sentiment in black.

To create the card pictured below I stamped a brushstroke like image using Hero Arts Ombre Spring Brights ink – love the gradual transition from yellow to hot pink. Again, I double or even triple stamped this to get the most vibrant and intense color possible.

I trimmed my stamped panel to 4 x 5 1/4″ and after stamping sentiment in black ink I foam mounted it onto a white A2 side folding card base. I paired this card with Simon’s Doll Pink envelope – the colors here go so well together!
