Its STAMPtember! Concord & 9th Collaboration – Stay Warm

Hello there! I have a new STAMPtember project to share today, this one is featuring Concord & 9th collaboration stamp set. Beautiful layering pine cone image plus some really great sentiments.

To create this card I did what I love to do most – stamped a background pattern! Since there’s only only image included in this stamp set I stamped it multiple times alternating the direction to create a patterned paper-like look. Stamping was done on Simon’s 120 LB cardstock, I love this paper for stamping using dye inks. I used my Mini MISTI (the images stamped on the sides has to be stamped using a clear block as I was limited by the size of my MISTI) and I used several colors of brown ink from Hero Arts. I first stamped the most solid layer using Soft Brown, next added a detail layer using Brown Ombre and finally stamped the outline using Cup O’ Joe.

To create the sentiment I heat embossed Stay Warm using white embossing powder onto a piece of brown cardstock which I die cut using the stitched circles die. I also added a little acorn sticker (it looks like its made out of real wood, could be plastic but it sure does look realistic) and foam mounted the circle onto the card base using thin foam squares.
