I think I completely forgot that I had planned to share some of my Valentine’s Day projects made for Hero Arts catalog. This simple watercolor Amore card is among my favorites and it is super easy to make.

CARD DETAILS

I used Satin White embossing powder here instead of the usual white to achieve a soft subtle shine to my heat embossed image. The Paris stamp was stamped using Versamark ink repeatedly, at an angle, to create a pattern.

After heat embossing the background I came in with a large flat paint brush, slightly damp, and added bold pink brushstrokes to highlight the main portion of the background.

To keep this card very simple, I added a white Amore heat embossed onto black cardstock and embellished my card using a few droplets.
