Today I’d like to share a card using a few current favorites from Hero Arts. If you follow Hero Arts blog you might have already seen this card I made using a Wood Floor background stamp. I used the same background stamp and same coloring technique to create a background for a project I am sharing in this post.

CARD DETAILS
I also used adorable kitty images from the Purr clear stamp set and stamped 3 kitties. The idea was to create a scene with playful and mischievous cats. I used Hero Arts Intense Black ink and Copic markers (I used the same colors I picked to color my background – E79, E37, E33) and colored my images. I used greens YG99, YG95 and YG93 colors to color the cushion and ball of yarn.
To create a sentiment I stamped and die-cut letters to spell out the word MEOW – I used Luggage Tag Alphabet stamps and coordinating dies and stamped letters in Moss ink.
After trimming my background panel to 4 x 5 1/4″ I foam mounted it onto an A2 white card base. I used black foam tape and foam mounted my kitties and letters on top.
The inside of the card is stamped with You And Me Are Purfect Together sentiment in black ink, I was meaning to snap a photo of the inside, but completely forgot.
If you are not a cat person, Hero Arts also came out with a similar Woof stamp set with equally adorable cute doggy images.
