Gossamer Blue | April Projects

I have been enjoying making layered cards using my Gossamer Blue April Kits. You get a ton of embellishments and little bits and pieces that are perfect for layering! I was so inspired while playing with these that I hope to print a few photos and even scrapbook a layout or two (I used to scrapbook a lot in the past). Here are a couple of the cards I made using a mix of supplies from April Kits:

I’ve been enjoying using pineapple images in my projects and I just love this large gold vellum pineapple die cut. I layered it over lemon paper, added a bold HI and foam mounted a bunch of little bits on top. Click little photos below to see the project up close:

My next card is also full of yellow pineapples:

I layered two die cut tags, added a succulent plant on top and embellished this card with a Be Happy brad and another wooden pineapple. Click little photos below to see the project up close:

When life gives you lemons – make lemonade. Hence a large die cut lemon foam mounted over an acetate ampersand. Click little photos below to see the project up close:

And the last card for today is a beautiful striped pink:

Be the answer to someone’s prayers – such a beautiful quote. I almost wish I did pocket scrapbooking so that I could use it in one of my layouts. Click little photos below to see the project up close:
