Flora & Fauna | Stamped & Watercolored Sea Scene Card

If you follow me on Instagram you might have spotted an Insta-story I shared a few weeks ago showing how to make this card step by step.

I had so much fun stamping it – I wasn’t even at my my craft desk, but was sitting on the couch and had a few new stamps on our coffee table, inspiration came out of nowhere and about 20 minutes later I had this card done!

CARD DETAILS

I used images from several stamp sets from Flora & Fauna and combined them rather unexpectedly to stamp this scene. I started by stamping a bottle from the Mermaid Kisses stamp set – I was looking for something to use as a shore line and the shape of the bottle did the trick!

Next, I stamped water line using an image from the Pool Party stamp set. I also added palm trees and a whale jumping out of the water. To fill in the foreground of the card I stamped a mason jar and a pineapple drink.

I also added several “x”s onto the shore – “x marks the spot” from the Texture Two stamp set, and stamped “YAY” along with a “Good Times” and “Life is Happy” sentiments onto the card. I used my Daniel Smith watercolors to quickly color my panel and once my coloring was done I foam mounted it onto an A2 top folding card.
