Easy Stamped Good Luck Cards. Video

Now that Valentine’s Day is behind us, I would like to start thinking about the St. Patrick’s Day cards. I have 3 Good Luck/St. Patric’s Day card ideas with the new Lots of Luck stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. Because we all need a bit of luck in our lives, don’t we? 😉

CARD DETAIL

I love the new Lots of Luck stamp set from Simon – it is the most adorable layering set for good luck cards. I had loads of fun stamping all the different images from this set (I didn’t stamp the grass, I’ll have to come back to that one) and playing with different ink colors. I would recommend you get both the stamp + coordinating dies as the dies just add so much more versatility to your stamps.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY CARD

I did 3 cards – some simple, some not so much. My first card, above, features a 3 x 4 cloverleaf pattern. It is fun, it is easy to stamp, and it is playful. I added a sentiment made using a pre-printed sentiment strip from Simon Says Stamp and added pops of color with the help of pink and yellow ladybugs (because they don’t always have to be red).

LUCKY TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE YOU CARD

My second card (below) is the most clean and simple possible. I have just one 4-leaf clover, a simple sentiment, and a red ladybug.

It is simplicity at its best! Btw, don’t forget clear droplets – these look like drops of water and add interest to the card (I used them on all 3 cards I’m sharing today).

WISHING YOU LOTS OF LUCK CARD

My 3rd card is the most involved – it features a dark green background (how could I resist?) made using Simon’s Midnight Green cardstock and a plethora of colorful die cuts, both the leaves and the flowers.

This one was my favorite to make, although I also love the 2 cards above for their simplicity.
