Concord & 9th | Make a Wish Birthday Card

Hello there! Let’s make a wish! I have a very simple yet bold Birthday card idea to share today. I still can’t get enough of the watercolor-like butterfly stamp set from Concord & 9th (by the way, I updated my previous Concord & 9th post with a video showing how to use the Butterfly Beauty stamp set) so I used it again to add some background stamping.

CARD DETAILS

I started working on this card by stamping a watercolor-like butterfly using Dandelion ink from Hero Arts. I used just one ink color (as opposed to using ombre pad like I did in my previous post) and still got fantastic watercolor-like results!

Next I stamped a big bold Wish and topped that with “make a happy Birthday” message also stamped in black. A part of that message came from the Say Hello stamp set.

I felt like this card was lacking a bit, so I added several stamped candles at the bottom and created dimensional flames using Nuvo drops in English Mustard and Ripened Pumpkin.
