Hello crafters! Today’s video is brought to you by Colorado Craft Company – I am very excited to share their January 2021 Anita Jeram Illustrations release with all of you, show you the new stamps, show you a couple of cards I made, and host a giveaway sponsored by Colorado Craft Company
Colorado Craft Company is a newer stamp company on the market. I have shared several videos and projects with their products in 2020 and 2019 and I had an absolute blast creating with their stamps. They introduced a new line of stamps featuring illustrations of a world-famous author and illustrator, Anita Jeram, in October of last year, and those stamps became an instant hit.
I wasn’t familiar with Anita’s work, but I fell in love with her illustrations and while they aren’t typically my style, I enjoy coloring her cute critters and making greeting cards with the images she illustrated. So I eagerly looked forward to this new release and it did not disappoint!

CARD DETAILS
With Anita’s illustrations so full of character I always feel like there isn’t much needed to make a great card. I like to stamp her characters, do simple coloring, and pop my colored character panel on an A2 white card base. I might add a colored background panel, to tie together with the coloring I have going on on the panel, I might add an embossed panel, too, to add some texture, but for the most part, I feel the illustrations speak for themselves and there isn’t much I need to do to make my cards shine. You’ll notice nearly all of my cards are rather basic, but they are super fun, all thanks to Anita’s illustrations. I didn’t even add any embellishments to my cards, I did add some cute hearts to Valentine’s day cards, but that was it.

I have been subscribed to both your blog and Colorado Craft Company. My favorite way to color is with watercolors. I use by inkpads, pens and water color paints- I scribble them on glass or mix them and paint. I enjoy mixing colors and I like the intensity variations. I do enjoy using ink blending brushes with my stamp pads on stencils and to shade edges of everything.
I have not gotten into copic coloring but these stamps are so cute, I may have to give it a try. Your dot technique is amazing…I love it!
I am working on my marker colouring. Watercolouring is easiest for me.
Love these images!
These cards are so cute! I love your coloring technique. I am very much a beginner with alcohol markers. So I love seeing how others color with them. I am anxious to try your technique.
I love your adorable cards. I have to say I simply love to color and enjoy using my copic markers, prismacolor pencils and watercoloring. It’s therapeutic and very relaxing and gives me great satisfaction to see the end result!
I love coloring with COPICs. I keep trying watercolor and other mediums, but I get my favorite results from COPICs.
I love watercolor but most often use colored pencils. Love these adorable images! Thanks
I just adore these images by Anita Jeram! And your cards let them shine! I think I’m most comfortable with coloring in pencils, but Copic markers are a close second. I’m working on getting more proficient with my watercolors.
These are so gorgeous! And the colouring is wonderful. I love colouring with copics and pencils and am going try my hand at watercolouring – particularly with Anita’s wonderful illustrations!
These designs are so sweet and would be nice to color. I usually use prismatic colored pencils. I haven’t invested in copics yet.
These are adorable. I love coloring with copic markers.
Your cards are really lovely. Hope you have a very Happy New Year. Take care.
I just love how you colored these so simply, Yana! I would SO like to win one of these sets. We’re Irish, so the 4 leafed clover set would be a delight.
And I love to color with Copic markers!
Precious cards!! I love to color with my Copics, but a 2021 goal is to work on my water coloring.
My favorite way to color is with watercolors…but the results are not always steller!!
I am incredibly intimidated by coloring! You make it look so simple, the sign of great talent! If I need to color I find water coloring the most forgiving. Love these cards❤️
Love your cards! I’ve been following you for some time. You make it all seem so simple. I found the 3C company just a short while ago. I absolutely love the whimsical designs. I find colored pencils the easiest for me to control and blend, but work hard at copics.
Loved the tutorial… I like adding 3D effects sometimes too; not on all cards or art pieces, but some to add interest. I like your color choices and also that you didn’t do a lot of blending. Often, I don’t have the time to blend and I mess it up sometimes too so I prefer to shade versus blend. GREAT tip regarding the Copic friendly ink versus permanent dark in… thank you so much for sharing. Please stay safe and Happy New Year.
Beautiful cards! Like the dimension.
I love Anita Jeram’s images, and these are colored beautifully! Love the layers…I color mostly with Copics but I’ve been branching out into watercolor, and received Prismacolor pencils for Christmas so I’m looking forward to working with those. These sets are adorable…my favorites being the ones with clover as I was born on St. Patrick’s Day! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with us!
These cards are so adorable! The coloring really makes the cards.
Wonderful inspiration; thank you! Colored pencils are my favorite medium, although I have recently started using copics, with mixed results. They are faster, but easier to screw up. Practice makes perfect, though, so might as well use adorable stamps ☺️
I’m trying to learn Copic coloring. I do some watercolor, colored pencil and ink techniques too.love your style and hints you give!
This is such a great clean looking technique. I really like these cards a lot. Your Coptic coloring is amazing with these.
So adorable. My favourite way to color is with Copic Markers.
I love the Anita Jeram stamps. I already own 3 sets and this new release is so cute! I mostly use copic markers to color, but I also like water colors.
LOVE her work so much! I cannot wait to acquire the entire collection! LOVE all of these cards so much!
I love all of Anita Jeram’s stamps. I have been coloring one (Party Time) while watching your video. I like to color wit copic markers and really love your no blending technique!!!!!
I do like using copies, but for soft colors, I enjoy watercolor brushes like Zig.
Thanks for sharing these darling cards.
Hi Yana 🙂 I’ve been following both you and CCC on IG AND receiving both of your email newsletters for some time now! As far as coloring goes…I don’t really have a favorite. It’s whatever strikes me at the moment or is most appropriate for the project. I have and will continue to use alcohol markers, water based markers, watercolors, ink, and colored pencil. I’ve thought about venturing out a bit with acrylic and distress crayons. These Anita Jeram sets are 100% pure sweetness and you showcase them very well! Thanks for all the beautiful inspiration!!!
I’m already a follower. I love Anita Jeram. I don’t have Instagram so I hope that doesn’t mean I’m no eligible to win. My favorite way to color is sitting in my craft room with the TV on or listening to music. Especially if it’s a nice day and I can open the window. My craft room is actually a bed room but I get to call it my craft room.
Such cute stamps again love to try different coloring mediums.
These are so cute Yana! Loving how you colored the sky with those blobby dots. My favorite way to color is with Copics.
I like coloring with pencil. I am working on my marker and paint skills though. I already sub/follow.
These stamp sets are so adorable. The one set reminds me of Nutbrown Hare in the book Guess How Much I Love You. I would love to have these. Your cards look lovely. I really like the sentiments that have been paired with these images.
I enjoy using copics and adding extra details with prismacolor pencils.
Oh, I just love these layered cards! I must try this technique! Lately my favorite way to color is with alcohol markers.
Forgot to put my favorite way of coloring in my comment. I mainly use Copics, even though I don’t have all of them either.
Yana, all the heart-eyes for the sweet array of cards you’ve created! They’ll definitely give warm fuzzies to the lucky people receiving them! So sweet! I’m loving my copic markers these days; practicing, practicing! Thank you for the smiles today!

Very simple Copic coloring is truly my favorite way to color these darling characters – they do speak for themselves in such an adorable way so the simpler the coloring, the cuter they are!
Darling cards, Yana!
I’m teaching myself to use copicmarkers
I feel most comfortable coloring with COPICS. Love how you colored these; especially the clover one.
These cards are amazing !! So nostalgic. My favorite way to color is with a big mug of my favorite milk tea by my side with slowed versions of hip-hop music playing throughout the house.
These stamps are gorgeous!! I love coloring with Tombow markers (Copic are too expensive and not available in my country). Lately I discovered watercoloring which give me the confidence I can “paint”.
Love you Yana and love your simple yet elegant approach to creating these cards!!! Your process videos are my absolute favorite!!!
I love your videos and your instagram account is amazing. You are so talented and fun to watch. Thank you for all the inspiring creations you share. I love your technique of coloring where it doesn’t have to blend completely. This technique is great to use with all mediums and fun to create. I love Colorado Craft Company stamps and am excited to collect Anita Jeram’s stamps!
Subscribed to your blog, and to you and Colorado Craft Co on Instagram. I love the simplicity of these images and your CAS style really allows the power of the message to speak to all of us. My favorite mediums for coloring are watercolor and colored pencils (Prismacolor)
Really appreciate this video as I like simple coloring! (Subscribed to CCC & you on Instagram & subscribed to your blog.) Love this stamp line & can’t wait for the Big & Bold reveal!
Your “less is more” approach is perfect! It really does let the picture speak for itself, but your little added touch makes it shine. The little added hearts and the cut outs and raised clovers are just right!
Hi Yana. I belong to both you & CCC. I have to say I think these stamps are the cutest. And my favourite way to colour is markers not very good at it but practicing. Thank you so much for a chance to win these stamps.
