Hello, friends! Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a fabulous crafty weekend. I’ve fallen a bit sick (I’ve had a cold for a few weeks which has now affected one of my kidneys, so I’m taking antibiotics, taking it slow by staying home and enjoying some crafty time). I have a card to share featuring the Big & Bold Perfume Bouquet stamp set from Colorado Craft Company. If you missed my other post featuring their Love’s Kiss stamp set (and a giveaway!) you can find it HERE.

CARD DETAILS
I started working on this card by stamping the gorgeous perfume bottle image in Hero Arts Intense Black ink on white cardstock using my mini MISTI stamping tool. Next, I added a little sentiment inside the label; I love that the sentiments are separate in this set and one can customize the label any way one likes. Plus, there are also separate numbers included allowing to stamp a custom number, I stamped “50” for my card.
Next, I did some simple coloring. My favorite perfume is YSL Mon Paris, the bottle is barely pink and so that inspired me to color my perfume bottle pink. I used RV00 and RV10 markers. I kept the label white.
Next, to color the bouquet I used YG03, G94 and G99 (to color leaves) and RV10, RV34 and R85 (to color flowers). I also used C9, C7, and C5 to color the ribbon on the bottle and used the C9 marker to color the background of the paper to turn it almost black. It is one of my favorite tricks to add a lot of WOW to a card (see other examples HERE, HERE and HERE). It can be rather wasteful to use a Copic marker to color a background, but I’ve learned to let go if you know what I mean. After all, it is just a marker and it supposed to bring me joy and it does bring me joy when I used it the way I want.
I trimmed the colored panel to 4 x 5 1/4″ and foam mounted onto A2 white card base. I paired this card with a light pink envelope from Simon Says Stamp.
Lastly, I embellished this project using Fashion Gold dots from Fun Stampers Journey – I scattered them around the card.
Once again, I love how this card turned out. And I intend to keep it on my desk for a while as inspiration for future projects.

I love this! The black background is really fabulous. This stamp set is on my wish list too along with the lips set 🙂
The card is gorgeous! Please make a video.
Your card is incredibly stunning. I love the pink flowers with the black background and the gold embellishments. Thank you for the inspiration. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.❤️
BEAUTIFUL WORK, Yana!!! I think there was NO BETTER COLOR than PINK for your perfume bottle! (I DID notice all those little numbers for customizing!) You did a WONDERFUL JOB on this! I TOO like to keep certain cards where I can see them for a bit before sending them off. 😉 The black background DOES make this STUNNING!!! HOPE you are feeling better soon! It is NO FUN to be sick! REST UP WELL!!!! ;)<3
Wonderful ! When you showed this stamp on the previous post I was in love with all the space those blooms gave you to colour. You’ve shown just how stunning it will look. Thank you. Hope your feeling much better soon x
This is just so lovely. You made it your own for sure,it’s beautiful.
Very pretty and the bold black background with the pink is stunning. Like you I sometimes have to say the same thing to myself when I’m hesitate to use a “supply” because it might seem wasteful to use. I bought the thing (whatever it is) to use and then I feel hesitate to use it!!! Oh, the mind!!! Glad to hear I’m not the only one who experiences this! Anyway, I too hope you’re back up on your feet in total good heath soon. Take good care of you.
Love this card and stamp set. Your card is just WOW! This has so many possibilities. Thanks so much for sharing.
Lovely and elegant!!
So much fun
Wishing you a speedy recovery. I love the design of this stamp and your colouring is fantastic! The dark background really makes the image shine.
Such a Beautiful card!!!
Lovely card. Hope you feel better real soon.
Yet another elegant card. I love the contrast of pink on black, it’s beautiful!
So very pretty!!
I hate being sick! 🙁 I never thought the background was colored by an entire Copic marker! If you hadn’t said anything about coloring in the background w/a Copic marker, I would’ve just thought it was black cardstock!! You made a lovely card, though. I hope you get well soon.
Hi Yana! A long time coming, but I finally had it in my budget to buy this beautiful stamp and, using your detailed instructions, was able to create a stunning birthday card for my sister-in-law. I kept track of this blog post all these many months, and referred to it often during my crafting time. Thanks so much for all of the written details; they are so helpful for me to refer to. Videos are very helpful too, but I love having the written word that I can easily ready, rather than having to pause & re-wind!! I’ll be posting my iteration on my Insta page, @cmitchellrealty. It will be the first card I’ve had the nerve to post!! Thanks for your help!!
