This is my sixth post for the Explore Beyond blog from Spellbinders Paper Arts as an International Blog Ambassador (previous posts: Easter Card | Mini album | Pin Cushion | Tree Ornament | Paper Pinwheels).
Today I’d like to share a card and a video tutorial. I used papers from Graphic 45 and some of my favorite Spellbinders dies to create this Heartfelt Wishes card.

VIDEO TUTORIAL
Sharing my video tutorial with you! I talk about choosing dies and pattern papers and coming up with a design for my card. Watch video below or on my Youtube Channel:

CARD DETAILS
I used several die templates to create this project. One of the main dies featured here is the Curved Borders Two die from the Card Creator line. This particular one not only cuts and embosses, but also adds little die cut holes, perfect for adding stitching to your projects.
Aside from Curved Borders, I used A2 Tranquil Moments, Ribbon Banners and Outrageous Butterfly. Some of the die cuts were cut twice to create a colored shadow, something I often like to do (see THIS video for additional idea – its a Baby Boy Birthday Card).
The Heartfelt Wishes sentiment was stamped in black ink and came from an old Hero Arts stamp set. I love using handwritten sentiment for projects like this one and I feel the Heartfelt Wishes one was a perfect match.
I used foam adhesive to adhere almost all the elements on this card, I love using foam dots to add dimension, it really helps the die cuts to stand out better. I also added pearls to the pattern paper to make this card look a bit more fancy.
ADDITIONAL INSPIRATION
Here’s another card using the same idea and identical dies and papers:
