STAMPtember | We Are So Purr-Fect Together + Free Gift Card Promo

I am a cat person. I love dogs too (and all other animals), but here at home we have 2 very spoiled cats living with us (or if I am speaking the cat language I should say – we are living with them). So naturally, when I was sitting down to make a card the other day I instantly reached for Simon’s Right Meow stamp set. I’m looking forward to using other cat images from this stamp set, especially the one in a sweater for a fall card!

CARD DETAILS

This is a very simple one layer card. I stamped 2 cats and sentiment in alcohol marker friendly ink and quickly colored using Copics. I used: C5, C3, C1, RV13, W5, W3, W1, R27 colors. Looking back at this card now I should have colored both kitties using a warm gray marker as the cool gray on the mister Cat looks bit unnatural. Lesson learned!

I made simple masks for these, masked them and stamped Falling Hearts background in Maliblue ink to add some interest to all the white space I had left on my card.

I didn’t add any extra embellishments as kept this card a truly one layer project.
