Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a Thank You Card & Treat Box set created using Spellbinders Exclusive Small & Large Die Of The Month kits. I will be moving soon for work and I wanted to make little “Thanks You” gifts for the people I’ve been working with for the past 18 month so I made this Thank You card and gift box for a little treat. I’m planning to make a few more as I want to gift several people.

VIDEO TUTORIAL
As always, I filmed a video tutorial showing how to create this project from start to finish. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it. Watch it below or on my Youtube channel.

PROJECT DETAILS
The dies I used to make these projects come from the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month for the month of March – that’s the frames and labels and Large Die Of The Month for the month of March – that’s the gift box die itself plus some additional embellishments such as little leaves and flourishes. The Small Die Of The Month for the month of March features 8 dies that are all designed to die cut & emboss beautiful labels and frames for your cards or scrapbook pages.
I die-cut a label using one of the dies out of beautiful Rose Gold (Burnished Rose) cardstock from Tonic Studios and I also played a bit with the Ivory Bouquet handcrafted embossed paper also from Tonic. I love to use specialty papers like this for my die cut projects as they always take my die cuts to a new level.
I also embossed both of the labels using the embossing sandwich in my machine – you can see that stunning detail from the embossing on the photo above and below.
I went with Woodgrain Powder cardstock from Altenew and used it for the front of my card. Next I foam mounted Rose Gold die cut label and stamped With Thanks For All You’ve Done sentiment in Vintage Sepia ink from Tsukineko onto white cardstock strip.
I love to use labels like this for my projects – they make the perfect backdrop for lots of different things (flowers, critters and just skinny sentiment strips such as this one). In addition to using the Small Die Of The Month March I also used Large Die Of The Month March and die-cut various embellishments out of same Rose Gold paper – little leaves and a swirl.
I used Tonic Nuvo Drops in Ivory Seashell and added little pearl details to my card. Love using them for my projects!
Here’s a look at the mini treat box created using Large Die Of The Month March – I cut it out of same Rose Gold paper, assembled and put a little Raffaello chocolate inside (love this chocolate!).
I embellished my gift box using dies that were also included in the Large Die Of The Month set – the little tag, leaves, leafy branch and swirl. I stamped another Thanks word onto a white cardstock strip and foam mounted it onto the tag. I foam mounted my tag onto the box, although you can easily tie it in place if you want.
Lastly, I embellished my box using same Ivory Seashell drops.
Here’s one more photo I snapped – a close up of the die cut label and a close up of the die. Isn’t it pretty?
SPELLBINDERS SMALL AND LARGE DIE CLUBS OF THE MONTH
Spellbinders Small Die Of The Month Subscription program is just $7.5 a month plus shipping, they do have flat rate shipping in the USA for $5. So this ends up being $12.50 a month; if you live outside the USA – shipping cost depends on your location. The Large Die Of The Month Subscription is $20 plus shipping.
These dies are not available for purchase separately, you can only buy them as a member of a club. If they don’t sell out you can buy them next month, but the price is higher. So it pays to join the club and enjoy all of the club benefits. Plus you get extra 10% off all other Spellbinders products as a member of the club. Each month the die designs are different, last month they had beautiful borders, the month before it was a hearts die set and before that it was a cool snowman builder set.
SPELLBINDERS VALUE CLUBS
You can also subscribe to both clubs if you like, Spellbinders has value clubs available, so if you want to subscribe to both the value club you’ll want to join is Die Hard, and it’s just $25 per month plus shipping, so that’s both the small and large die of the month.

Your co-workers are going to feel really blessed when they receive this beautiful gift set! I love your choice of cardstock, too…especially the Rose Mirror Card!
Thanks so much for taking the time to create this post and your wonderful video tutorial…I really appreciate it!
The papers you used are so pretty … especially the rose mirror. I’m amazed to watch you take paper out of a die and then put it back in to emboss with no problem. Whenever I’ve done that, I somehow end up with the paper slightly off and get a messed up embossing. Have made the mistake of embossing tape into the die cut!!! Sorry to hear you’re leaving (Phoenix too?) and wish you all the very best in the next chapter of your adventure. Look forward to blog posts from wherever you land next. Thanks, Yana.
Hi Yana, I discovered your website and love everything you create!!!!! I also love spellbinder and did not know they have a monthly club so I joined today!!!! Looking forward to your beautiful posts and products from
Spellbinders!
Oh Yana, the card and treat box are so beautiful! What a delight to have on hand for a special thank you! I have enrolled in the small die of the month club, but now I wish I had signed up for the value club (small and large die of the month)! I’m looking at my Spellbinders dies in a whole new way!
I Love the elegant card and treat box! Your choice of luxurious paper and beautiful frames made it so stunning. TFS! And best wishes in your new endeavors!
Hi Yana,
I love the coloured foil used in these 3D projects. I think it is very lovely of you to make these for your colleagues they are going to think they are amazing. I have some Spellbinder dies in my stash and I keep forgetting that these will emboss as well.
I will definitely be making a note about this somewhere to remind to check the embossing out. thank you for sharing this project with us crafters. :O)
Those are all so beautiful. Your friends will always treasure them.
Gorgeous and elegant creations!! 🙂
Love the cards! Where are you going next. I hope it’s near northern California.
