Hello, all! I’d like to share one more holiday project I created using Spellbinders dies. I’ve been making lots and lots of Christmas cards for the past few month and I’ve filmed a few videos for them as well, so I’d like to share one today while there’s still time before the Holidays.
I used my all time favorite First Edition papers (its a UK brand) – their Gilded Winter collection. Lots of rich gold and cream colors, its simply stunning. I also incorporated a beautiful sentiment from Altenew – Strike the Harp and Join the Chorus and added a large ribbon bow inspired by the most talented Becca Feeken.
The starting point for this particular card was an elegant filigree reindeer that was die cut out of gold mirror cardstock. I knew I wanted to use it on my project so I started building my card from there. I also layered several labels and of course used 5×7 Matting Basics A dies. I simply cannot do without them.
I also used a gorgeous Arched Elegance Pocket die by Becca. This card, like many other of my projects has lots and lots of dimension – I used a lot of pop dots to adhere my layers.

This card truly is stunning. I love Becca’s dies and her work. Unfortunately, for all of the Spellbinders dies that I have, I haven’t had the budget lately for any of these newer ones. Hopefully soon…

I think this is the most beautiful card I have ever seen!!! Two friends of mine got married in Paris recently and I have been looking for a card that isn’t traditional. I think I found it. He will love this!!! Thank you for the inspiration!! I am blessed to be able to visit blogs from home. I have health problems…..fighting metastatic breast cancer and lung disease……so it has not been easy…..add arthritis and fibromyalgia and some days it’s hard to get out of bed. But I get joy in making my cards for family and friends. I started making inspirational cards for women like me who also have metastatic breast cancer anonymously. I am looking for others to join me but for now it’s just me!
