Spellbinders | Slimline Birdhouses Birthday Card

Hello friends! Today I have a card to share I made using Birdhouses Through the Seasons dies from Spellbinders. It’s actually an older project, I made it 2 years ago, but kept forgetting to share. This is a Slimline Birthday card, the size of this card allows you to easily slide a dollar bill inside.

CARD DETAILS

The dies I used for this card come from the Birdhouses Through the Seasons collection designed by Vicky P. for Spellbinders. I adore these dies! HERE I have a set of modern cards made using the same products.

First, I ink-blended a light cloudy background using a cloud stencil and pale blue ink. Next, I die-cut a tall birdhouse using Fall Birdhouse dies. I added a white picket fence from the Spring Birdhouse set, I cut it from white woodgrain cardstock to give it that beautiful texture. The branches and birds come from Sweet Birds on a Branch set. I did add flowers from the Mini Blooms & Sprigs die set to create blooming branches for this card.

Lastly, the sentiment comes from the Tweet Sentiments set, it was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black ink.
