Spellbinders | Scenic Snapshot Cards

Hello, friends! How is your week going? I’m pretty busy, as always, especially lately as I have daily hospital visits for my back pain (I’ve been getting treatment for the past 6 months and it’s really helping me have significantly less back pain).

Today I have several cards to share featuring a ton of die-cutting using Spellbinders Scenic Snapshots Dies collection. I’ve made these a while back for a magazine publication, for Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine, Issue #200.

You can find detailed instructions for each of the cards below as well as a supply list at the bottom of this post. These cards were tons of fun to make (it isn’t often that I get to make cards with just die-cut elements, but I enjoy it so much).

ADVENTURE TIME CARD DETAILS

Instructions:

• Create an A2 white side folding card base.
• Dry emboss light blue cardstock panel using the Love Stripe embossing folder. Trim to 4 x 5 ¼”, adhere to light gray cardstock mat, adhere to card.
• Die-cut cloche from white and yellow cardstock. Die-cut background insert from light purple cardstock. Ink blend Pretty Pansy ink. Adhere ink blended insert onto a yellow background. Foam mount both background and cloche outline onto the card.
• Die-cut hills from light and dark green cardstock. Adhere to card.
• Die-cut trees, tents, flowers, cloud, and moon from colored cardstock, assemble and adhere to card.
• Die-cut “Adventure Time” from white and black cardstock. Adhere white die-cut onto black and offset. Adhere to card.

MISS YOU CARD DETAILS

Instructions:

• Create an A2 white side folding card base
• Dry emboss light blue cardstock panel using a Bright Days embossing folder. Trim to 4 x 5 ¼”, adhere to light gray cardstock mat, adhere to card.
• Die-cut windmill, flowers, clouds, sun, ground from colored cardstock, assemble and adhere to card.
• Die-cut “Springtime” from white and black cardstock. Adhere white die-cut onto black and offset. Adhere to card.
• Foil “Hello Friend” in Polished Brass foil on white cardstock, trim to a banner, foam mount to card.
• Add white pen details.
• Embellish card with fashion gold dots.

MISS YOU CARD DETAILS

Instructions:

• Create an A2 white side folding card base
• Dry emboss light gray cardstock panel using Inspire embossing folder. Trim to 4 x 5 ¼”, adhere to light blue cardstock mat, adhere to card.
• Die-cut tent, barn, flowers, clouds, sun, ground, trees from colored cardstock, assemble and adhere to card.
• Foil “Miss You” in Polished Brass foil on blue cardstock, trim to a banner, foam mount to card.
• Add white pen details.

THINKING OF YOU CARD DETAILS

Instructions:

• Create an A2 white side folding card base
• Trim light gray panel to 4 x 5 ¼”, adhere to card.
• Fussy cut hills from green cardstock, adhere to card.
• Die-cut windmills, flowers, clouds, sun, from colored cardstock, assemble and adhere to card.
• Foil “Thinking of You” in Polished Brass foil on white cardstock, trim to a banner, foam mount to card.
• Add white pen details.

JUST FOR YOU CARD DETAILS

Instructions:

• Create 4 ½” square white top folding card base
• Trim light blue panel to 4” square, emboss using I Heart Embossing Folder, adhere to card.
• Die-cut hills, windmill, trees, flowers, clouds, sun from colored cardstock, assemble and adhere to card.
• Foil “Just For You” in Polished Brass foil on blue cardstock, trim to a banner, foam mount to card.
• Add white pen details.

FOR YOU CARD DETAILS

Instructions:

• Die-cut a circle shaped card base using largest die from the S4-114 Nestabilities Standard Circles LG set.
• Die-cut circle from light blue cardstock, dry emboss using Above The Clouds embossing folder. Adhere to card.
• Die-cut hill, windmill, barn, trees, flowers, clouds, sun from colored cardstock, assemble and adhere to card.
• Foil “For You” in Polished Brass foil on blue cardstock, trim to a banner, foam mount to card.

Do you like this style of card? I admit I am so in love with the whole Scenic Snapshot collection – I love everything where I can mix various elements between different sets.
