Hello, friends! Today, I’m excited to share three card ideas featuring the new Gorgeous You Perfume Bottle Die Set from Spellbinders. If you’ve ever been a little skeptical about a die set (like I was at first), you’re not alone! Sometimes, it takes sitting down and actually playing with it to spark that creative magic. Once I got started, I couldn’t stop – and I think you’ll feel the same way!

First Impressions: The Gorgeous You Collection
Before we jump into the cards, I want to share a little background on this collection. The Gorgeous You Perfume Bottle is part of Spellbinders’ new Gorgeous You release for March 2025. When I first saw it online, I imagined it was sized for standard A2 cards. And while it works beautifully on A2, I quickly realized it truly shines on a larger 5″ x 7″ card – especially if you want to add extras like florals or sentiments.

Card 1: Elegant Florals & Dimension
For my first card, I used Oceanside cardstock to create a 5″ x 7″ card base – this color is just stunning in person! The perfume bottle itself is cut from my favorite Brushed White cardstock and paired with Brushed Black for the label’s outline. For the sentiment, I used the Chiffon cardstock and foiled in matte black, adding a clean, elegant feel.
Then came the fun part—florals! I used the Gorgeous You Florals die set to create a frame of flowers around the bottle, drawing inspiration from classic perfume ads where bottles are surrounded by blooms.
My color palette included:
- Poppy
- Chiffon
- Blush
- Dahlia
- Wild Berry
- Saffron
- Fern, Rainforest, and Peridot for the greenery.
To finish it off, I added the sweetest bow (also from the die set) in a bold poppy red for extra contrast. A few white pearls and gel pen details tied it all together.
Card 2: Adding Texture with Embossing
For the second card, I wanted to play with texture, so I brought in the Cross My Heart 3D Embossing Folder from the same collection. It adds a gorgeous background without overpowering the design.
This time, I incorporated elements from other die sets to build out my scene, including:
- A charming bee from the January 2024 Large Die of the Month
- Leaves from the Club Blooms set
- Extra foliage from a past Christmas die set
I love mixing and matching different collections to create something fresh. The dimension in this card comes from layering the die cuts with thin and regular foam adhesive squares. Once again, a few white pearls added that touch of softness and elegance.
Card 3: Sleek & Minimal with a Touch of Foil
For my third card, I went for a different vibe – sleek and minimal! I cut the perfume bottle from Brushed Black cardstock and skipped the label altogether. Instead, I foiled a tiny “I adore you” sentiment directly onto the bottle using the Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. This is where having those small, individual sentiments in your stash really comes in handy!
I added a few delicate florals directly onto the bottle itself, trimming as I went for a clean finish.
Trim as you go instead of waiting until the end—it makes things way easier!
This card is an A2 size and is perfect for when you want to keep things simple but still impactful.
I had so much fun creating with the Gorgeous You Perfume Bottle Die Set. What started out as skepticism turned into creative joy, and I hope these ideas spark some inspiration for you, too! Whether you go big with florals on a 5″ x 7″ card or keep it simple on an A2, this die set has tons of potential.

I have reached out to Spellbinders CS about the issues and apparently people are talking, so I am waiting to see if the complications go away!
In the meanwhile I had tried ordering a couple of sets from Amazon – and that would have made for a “funny” movie. They have tried four times now and don’t seem to be able to do it. I have even been sent sets of stencils -individually – which aren’t offered separately from the coordinating plates. (Your poppies!)
So I do hope that the import issue clears up – buying directly from Spellbinders is SO MUCH nicer!!

I haven’t had the time to watch your video yet, but the perfume bottle is already a fav. I’ve been collecting mini perfume bottles for MANY years and have hundreds.
They’re displayed in a shot glass cabinet. (the Harajuku doll bottles are AMAZING!)
